At APS we wholeheartedly believe a tired dog is a happy and fulfilled dog. For this reason we try to fill your dog's day with mentally and physically stimulating activities. Days typically start around 5:00 am with the dogs getting some backyard time to do their business and stretch. After hanging out and playing in the backyard it’s off to eat breakfast and relax. After breakfast
we fill your dogs day with group training, solo training, supervised playtime and relaxing. We typically go to bed around 830pm.
As a full service operation we have almost everything including beds, bowls, pens, crates and toys so all you need to pack is the following: A leash, collar and harness (if you use one), food - please include enough for 4 extra meals just in case, A blanket if you like & any Medication or supplements.
If you think there is anything else your dog might want to travel with, please feel free to send it.
When no ones home dogs are either crated or left in their own secure spot depending on their routine. We typically are home the majority of the day but do go out for private lessons, transportation or errands/recreational times. We find that giving the dogs some true down time with nothing going on helps them recharge and avoid becoming cranky.
Yes we are happy to administer any medications or prepare a special meal for your dog at no extra cost.
